What do you see # 91 – A Roundup

➰➰➰

A few carelessly spoken words can wreak havoc in another’s life

Malicious gossip can taint reputations for life

Don’t pour tar on pristine surfaces

Don’t malign innocent lives without reason

Be careful of words you utter because

Once spoken they can never be recalled

➰➰➰

Stranded in the winter of my life

Alone and abandoned, no one caring about me

He is a superhero no doubt

Always ready to defend his family

Valiant and brave, loyal like no other

A bit arrogant at times, bossy too

But he is our hero, defender of the homestead

A cape and a badge of bravery are his due

A friend to the family, not just a pet anymore

What do you see # 87 – A Roundup

♾♾♾

Being mindful and aware of the world around us is essential

So many messages and reminders scattered in our way

We can be motivated, inspired, or elated by them

Or we can choose to remain oblivious, ignorant of them

It’s our choice, every day, every hour how we respond

To these little bubbles of positivity we cross daily

Look outwards and you will see, look inwards and you’ll miss them entirely
