The most recent trip I took was with my daughter and grandson to the northern tip of Olympic Peninsula at the Pacific coast. It was a three day trip, where we drove along the scenic routes, enjoying the nature. There were beautiful mountains, lush green coniferous forests and sandy beaches. The weather held up and we saw amazing sunsets and dawns on our trip. The route was planned as a loop, so that we saw most of the northern Washington state.
I have visited my daughter frequently in Seattle but this was the first time that she could get away from her work to plan this trip. A beautiful way to relax and yet experience the beauty of “Evergreen state”.

Welcome to FEBRUARY 7!
Today’s prompt is: What is the one thing in life you want to finish before you die?
I don’t have lofty dreams. Just a desire to live a good, productive life. Be there for my family and friends when they need me. Living healthy life. Not be dependent on anyone for anything is my biggest desire for the end of my life. I have seen when people are dependent upon their loved ones, how much of a strain it puts on the relationship. Love and care is often replaced by duty and obligations. So I want to be done with being overweight, and unhealthy before it’s my time to kick the bucket. I am working on my goals but life often intervenes and my plans are relegated to the back burner.
That’s my aim before I die!
