Every minute of the day someone is asking a question of someone else …. you know?

12 Bloggerz is a once a month question feature where l will …. ask you questions … 12 of them!

12 Questions

On a scale of 1 – 10 – where 1 is low and 10 is high how happy are you with everything in your life at this moment?

I think I am at an 8-9! Reasonably happy but with occasional road bumps that life throws in my way

Why do you do what you do the way that you do it?
Interpret as you so wish.

I guess it is a matter of habit. As one grows older one becomes fixed in habits as I am. I want to follow my routine and do things my way.

How do you embrace difference?

Difference of opinion is fine with me as long as it is not forced upon me. Difference in how people live is fine too.

What is one of the most significant ways that your readership influences you, your blog and your writing?

I think comments and then what I read on the blogs that I follow or sometimes the new blogs that I discover influence my writing. At times suggestions given by my readers help me make changes to how I blog. As an example, I was reblogging all the posts in response to WDYS. I asked the opinion of my readers and changed it to reblogging the first to responses.

How would you feel if everything you didn’t believe in today turned out to be true – which of your new disbeliefs now truths would affect you the most profoundly?

But also answer this question from the opposite spectrum as in –

How would you feel if everything you believed in today turned out to be false – would this affect you and if so which falsehood that you hold now true would affect you the most profoundly?

In most things about life, our world or scientific discoveries, I keep an open mind. Many times the first part of the question has happened. Somethings we took to be false were proved true. So I roll with new discoveries and evidence.

For the second part, I would believe if something that was proven false, with concrete evidence.

One thing that I implicitly believe and won’t change my mind or views about is my faith. I don’t need anyone to prove or disapprove it to me. It is written on my heart, not to be changed by any new evidence.

How often do you cross your fingers or say touch wood or good luck to people or do you not believe in that sort of thing?

I wish people good luck and also pray for their success not out of superstition but because I believe in the power of prayers. I don’t cross my fingers, except metaphorically.

Do you think that our childhoods impact our lives as adults – what are your views?

Of course it does. Some people carry the good or bad that happened to them in their childhood all their lives while others change it by their way of living. An unhappy child may be change into a happy and well adjusted adult and the reverse can happen too.

There is no truth to horoscopes – yes or no and why to either?

I think think people born under the same star sign can have similar personality traits. There’s no way they have a similar fate or destiny.

Does it really matter if we are environmentally-conscious – l mean is it that important – if not why not and if yes, why??

It does matter as individuals make a society. If each of us is conscious of our responsibility towards the environment, things will start to improve. If we all thought that one person cannot make a difference, things will go downhill rapidly.

Do you find it easy or hard to relax and what relaxes you the most?

I relax easily by listening to music, walking or reading. Blogging also relaxes me as it engages my mind away from anything that is causing stress.

How well or badly do you respond to being ‘shocked’ or ‘surprised’?

I am pretty cool about it. If an unexpected surprise is tossed my way, I adjust to it quite quickly.

How do you feel about the term “I am a lucky/unlucky person” as in – do you think that there is some truth to it or is it all nonsense?

I don’t believe anyone is lucky or unlucky! We all have our share of good and bad things that happen to us. And since I believe in a grand scheme of things, everything, good or bad that happens to us, happens due to a reason.

12 Questions

Have you learned anything during the pandemic and especially the lockdowns that has changed your outlook on you, your life and or your personality that is truly significant?

One thing that I’ve learned during this time is that we don’t need a lot. We can do with fewer things and fewer possessions. I’ve also realized how important family and friends are to us. When we couldn’t meet them as usual, we realized their importance in our lives.

In your ideal world or lifestyle, how much sleep do you think you really need to function at your most optimum level and more importantly – do you get your desired amount daily?

I need around 7 hours of sleep at night. I try to sleep early and get up early. This is the minimum amount of sleep that I need to function properly and optimally during my day. And yes I do get this daily.

Are you a thinker, a deep thinker or an active overthinker and if so what do you think about the most and for how long do you need to ‘think’ on a problem before you reach a satisfactory resolve or what steps do you undertake to not think as much?

Not an over thinker, most of the time. I do think about life deeply when I am perturbed about something. I usually find a way to resolve my issues, because I believe in grappling with the problem right away instead of sitting on it. Mostly I turn to my faith in God, and ask His help in solving my issues, if they are beyond me.

What are you most terrified of today?

Terrified is perhaps too strong a word. I’d say worried that the stupid and careless people are going to prolong this epidemic more than it should.

What do you do for fun or excitement to fill your day/days or week?

I blog, I watch movies with my grandson and I play with our new Kitty, Dinky.

Dinky, atop our indoor plant.

What is one of the most important features people should know about you?

People who know me, know that I like to go out of my way to help them. Especially if they need advice on medical issues, I can be relied upon to give sensible advice because of my medical background. I also like to help family and friends in any way I can.

Whilst in recent times much of life has appeared gloomy and doomed – in the last 15 months or so, what have been 3 really good things to happen in your life?

My older daughter earned her doctorate last year

• She and my grandson have come back to Pakistan and have settled well. It’s great to have all my family around me again.

• I am my husband have been vaccinated for covid.

How often do you watch old television series and if you do, what makes for a good viewing on older content in your eyes and do you find that time relaxing?

Hmm…. Almost never. Can’t find the time.

How often do you use herbs in your cooking and which ones are your most favourited and why?

In our way of cooking, we use lots of herbs like parsley, mint, and bay leaves. If I cook Italian food, I use oregano, thyme and basil. I love them all, when used in a proper manner.

How confident are you about taking a vacation/holiday to another destination that would involve air travel?

Not right now but perhaps next year, I’d love to take a vacation, maybe visit Turkey.

Are you a tidy or a messy or somewhere inbetween type of person?

More tidy than messy.

What is the most useless product you have ever bought unwittingly or accidentally thinking it was more practical than it actually was?

A few months back I bought a steamer thinking it would be so useful if I wanted a quick decreasing. But it was a cheap brand and didn’t work at all! It’s still sitting somewhere, reminding me of the money I wasted.

Would you want to be a millionaire and if so why and if not why not?

Has anyone said no to this question?

I wouldn’t refuse millions, it would give me the means to help others around me. Make an effort to improve the lives of those less blessed.

Do you listen more to the voice in your head or your gut when making difficult decisions?

Mostly it’s my head that I listen to, but I am respectful to my gut feelings too. Sometimes the gut knows stuff the mind hasn’t caught on to yet.

Should we be afraid of our nightmares or see them as a sign of improvement?

The good thing is that I seldom remember any of my dreams, or nightmares ( if I have them). If I recall any scary dream, I don’t pay much heed to it anyway.

Are you a fan of cult movies and if so which ones and why?

Cult movie?

Like a specific genre?

I like marvel’s movies so I like superheroes cult, I reckon. There is a lot of stress and tension in real life that’s why fantasy movies are so popular. It’s a way to get out of humdrum daily lives and escape into a universe where everything is possible.

What a comedy film you could watch over and over?

Perhaps I can watch a new comedy movie a couple of times but over and over again is beyond me. It stops being funny the third time for me!

How often can you listen to your favorite music for more than an hour in a day or a week without interruptions?

I can if I am given the chance. Like walking with no one beside me talking. Also when I blog at night, I put on music and listen to my favorites.

What is in your opinion the best way to make an omelet?

By cracking eggs!

A very important first step, otherwise there won’t be any omelets cooking.

When was the last time you were completely naughty?

In med school. In a very innocent way. 😜

What’s the secret to making someone laugh hard?

Tickle their funny bone!

How forgetful are you and why does the word look so silly when written?

Very in some respects and not at all in others. I guess if it’s important, I’ll remember it. Otherwise, it’s going to fly away from my mind till after it was supposed to be done.

Hmmm….. yes, it looks a bit funny!

What advice did your parents give you about LIFE that you too have passed on to your own children or friends?

My father used to tell me to “wait till I come to the bridge before I think about crossing it”

I found it very useful in dealing with anxieties of what will happens regarding something in the future.

I gave this advice to my kids.

I wasn’t received in the same spirit!!!

How often do you surf for something on the internet but end up hours later looking at something else … why does it happen to you, what causes you to stray?

Previously, lots of time I lost track of what I was looking for and ended up buying something else. Now, not so much. I go, I look up and I exit!

Okay … well you have come First in a Travel Competition you took part in and your prize is 1 Week Holiday in Medieval France [not pretend, virtual or fantasy but real time as in travel back through time]. I know, how lucky!

What five items ONLY will you take with you on your week away in Medieval France?

Full armor

A very big and strong sword

A map

A dictionary of French

My mobile phone with GPS activated.

What is the messiest meal you have ever eaten and why was it so?

A bar of chocolate that had melted due to heat, in its wrapper. As I love chocolate and can’t throw it away, I squeezed out the melted goop and ate it. It got all over my hands and face!

There is a Flesh Eating Zombie apocalypse raging across the lands – which 5 Bloggers would you sign up to your cause to help you fight your way to victory and why them, what will they bring to the fight?

-You, Rory;

because you know all about Zombies

– Dr. Tanya;

She can treat anyone injured during the fight.

If you had to trade places with a celebrity for a day who would you pick and why?

Oprah Winfrey!

Can you list five really funny comedians [any period of time]?

I can, but will I?

Charlie Chaplain

Eddy Murphy

Robin Williams

Rowan Atkinson

Peter Seller

John Cleese

In a world of continued disposability what six items do you consider basic staples for each wardrobe irrelevant to the year? [as in these pieces never age]

Property aside, what is the most expensive thing you have ever bought for yourself?

A car!

I didn’t buy it, my husband did.

When you are feeling down, what can you do or eat, drink … whichever to boost your mood?

Dark chocolate!

Dark chocolate fudge brownie

Something with lots of carbs, like naan or samosas

When are you at your happiest and what are you doing to make that happen for you?

I am happiest when I am at peace with my family and the world around me. I need to keep reminding myself of all the things and people that I am blessed with.

Do you believe ‘you are what you wear’ as in clothing defines your personality?’

Not really, but a well-dressed person makes a better first impression upon others. I can be totally oblivious to how I appear to my friends and family, but when I am confronting strangers, I do try to dress up well.

What’s the best advice you can give anyone in your opinion?

I have stopped giving advice unless asked for it. If someone asks, I will tell them;

Always be mindful and grateful for all that you have. One never knows when we could lose any of these.

Despite your good intentions – it is a universal fact that not everyone you meet and or know will like you – are you okay with that or does it bother you to the point you want to know why?

It used to bother me a lot, but now I don’t care. Everyone is entitled to their opinions. As I am too!

What’s currently inside your bathroom cabinet or sits on a shelf in your bathroom?

I keep spare shampoo and other toiletries in my bathroom cabinet. Mouthwash, hair dye, and some meds.

If you awoke one morning and discovered that you had the complete control over global Time – would you USE it well or ABUSE it badly and how?

I would be too afraid to mess up things and would probably lock the controls ( I am assuming that it would be a physical switch) away in a safe place.

If you could start a new blog and no one was to EVER know who you were and you never let on either – what style or genre would you opt for?

Very interesting thought!

I might do that and write children‘s stories on it. I would remain anonymous till I became famous.

If you found yourself to be a ghost for a day who would scare the heebie geebies out of and why?

I would go and haunt the corrupt politicians. I will scare them so much that they will return the money they stole from public.

What if anything are you allergic to?

There are some meds that I am allergic to. Other than that pollen and dust trigger my hay fever.

What makes for the best Sandwich in your opinion and more importantly can you describe your perfect recipe to us?

Since bread is off the menu for me mostly, I don’t make or eat many sandwiches. But one breakfast sandwich that is very easy to make stays in my menu for the days I want to indulge myself;

Peanut butter and banana sandwich.

Silly caps aside – how well and how long do you think you could honestly survive in a post-apocalyptic world brought on by a terrible life-ending disaster?

[Your interpretation of terrible life ending disaster is your choice]

If there was food and water I would try to survive as best as I can. The disaster that might strike the human race, could be of our own making when we have polluted our water and air to the extent that it becomes dangerous for us.

If online advertising doesn’t influence your buying decisions – what if anything – does?

I have learned this lesson during this pandemic that if I don’t need it I shouldn’t buy it. I am trying to avoid buying things I don’t need and make this my permanent habit.

Have any of your priorities with regards LIFe changed significantly during 2020 and if so, what and how?

I think my priorities have shifted towards living in the moment and not planning too much for the future. We don’t know what the circumstances are going to be the next day so why not enjoy today!

Do you have any bizarre fetishes and if so – care to share?

Rules are meant to be broken … yes or no and if yes why and which and if no, why not?

I am not an advocate for rule breaking but there are exceptions. If it’s a matter of life and death, rules can be broken or bent.

So!! Coffee upstairs or something stiffer and if so, which, why and what?

Unfortunately, if it’s night time, only decaf coffee.

If another national lockdown was to occur for you – would you be better prepared for it today as in, have you been in a position to stockpile much-needed stocks or would you be no different to the last time?

I like to think I would be. Living is all about learning and I have learned quite a few things from my experience of the lockdown. We do need to keep the essentials in some quantity at home. Thankfully, while in the US, some things were in very short supply, back home in Pakistan, there wasn’t a panic situation. Most things were available in good quantity and even toilet paper and hand sanitizer were abundant.

What do you think makes for a really scary fiction story that would prevent you from turning off the lights before you went to sleep??

I think it would have to be a really well-written story about someone breaking into your home that would scare me to that extent.

Which do you prefer to wear and why out of the following options?

[You can pick more than one – but always explain why]

Cotton, Denim, Cashmere, Chiffon, Lace, Leather, Linen, Wool, Organic Fabrics, Silk, Muslin, Polyester, Satin, Suede, Twill, Velvet, Moleskin, Mohair, Viscose.

I like wearing cotton and linen best of all. They are comfortable against my skin and do not turn stinky in summer. I can wear synthetic fabric but it’s not my first choice.

When getting dressed and you are putting on a dress, trousers, shorts or skirts and so on, which foot do you lead with, left or right … and why that way?

Always the right. I think it’s an inbuilt instinct. Or maybe we all were taught that as babies.

What is your blog’s prime genre and what are the secondary genres?

My blog is very versatile. So it is not one genre but all about everything! The secondary genre would be all about everything else!

Has blogging and as such belonging to a community of fellow bloggers and writers alike changed you as a person or inspired you in any way – explain?

Blogging has really been the best thing I’ve done to make my middle age better. I have acquired a lot of friends which are more like a family now. I am constantly learning new things about a variety of topics from the blogs that I follow. I have been at the receiving end of a lot of kindness and empathy from my friends here. Thank you all my blogging family for being the best!

Name 3 television programmes that you watched and enjoyed as a child and then explain what made them good for you back then?

I remember watching The little house on the prairie with my family. It was such a wonderful story.

Popeye the sailor man was great motivation to eat spinach

An assortment of cartoons made us laugh every day and look forward to our television time.

How do you celebrate you when you have time to pamper yourself?

Getting my haircut and dyed manicure, and pedicure for my mistreated appendages and rarely a facial.

Do you listen to any Podcasts or Vlog Diaries on a regular basis, if so what are they, and why are they so good?

No, I don’t. It takes a lot of time that I can spend talking and listening to my friends or my family.

Have you ever walked in on a couple having sex and did you 1] Scream in horror make appologies and run out, 2] Make your way out but acting cool about it all or 3] Laugh out loud and say “Alrighty then, game on!!”and join in?

Thankfully, I never was in such a situation.

What do you think lives in the 80% of the ocean that is unexplored and unmapped?

Creatures and plant life that would truly surprise us when we finally get to explore them.

Question inspired by Sadje of Keep it Alive

Do you read Book Reviews before purchasing a book new to you or do you simply buy a book based upon what you have read on the sale description or back page and if you do how influenced are you by those reviews?

I read the reviews before I buy a book of an un-read author. If it’s an ebook, I download a preview before I pay for the book. I am not very adventurous when it comes to exploring new authors so I like to have an idea of what I am getting into. I do however value recommendations and would buy a book if it comes highly recommended from a friend or a blogger friend.

12 Bloggerz – September 2020

1.What really lights you up?

Seeing my family happy and healthy. On a more personalnote, a good book, a favorite meal, or just couple of hours doing nothing but blogging. In pre-Covid days, I loved to catch my favorite movie in the theater.

2. When do you think we become old?

When we think we are old. A person can be young at 80 or old at 30. It’s how you look at life. The zest for living has nothing to do with how many years ago you were born.

3. What’s in your fridge right now?

Lots of leftovers, milk, eggs, butter, different types of dressings, lots of vegetables, apples, peaches, and bread. There are a few chocolates too!

4. Never mind three wishes give me one good fantasy which would be … ?

Never having to worry about my own or my family‘s health and well-being again. That we all are living happy, fulfilling and healthy lives.

5. How do you think your readers see you as the writer of your blog as a person away from your blog?

I have absolutely no idea how they see me as a person away from the blog. As a blogger, I am a happy, positive, and optimistic person. I hope that they know that I am the same person in real life as well.

6. How do you wish to be seen and interpreted as a person away from your blog by the readers of your blog?

See the above answer.

7.Do our fears start with our DNA?

Some mental conditions travel through genes ( DNA). These include phobias too. The rest of the fears are a result of life experiences conditioning. If we teach a child to fear things, it will grow up fearful.

8. What is the truest quality of life in your opinion?

I think kindness and honesty are the truest qualities of life.

9. What do you think the secret is to you letting yourself go?

Letting go as in letting go of inhibitions would be a result of not giving a fig about the opinions of others.

Letting go as in stop caring for oneself is when we start to lose hope and don’t bother how we look or feel.

10. What stops you from being the truer version of you or are you already the truer version of you?

I am the truest version of myself.

11. What are 7 things you have learned about blogging since you started your blog that would be beneficial to other bloggers right now?

• Be yourself

• Try new things

Don’t restrict yourself

• Interact with the community

• Leave thoughtful comments

• Learn to pre-schedule posts and always have a few completed posts in drafts

Enjoy blogging

12. Should we care what other people think about us?

We should to some extent. If we don’t fear society, we can go off the railscompletely. But don’t Life in fear of people.

Thank you Rory for such thought-provoking questions.

Twelve Bloggerz – Game 4

Welcome to 12 Bloggerz … the monthly topical question feature ….

Game #4 – August 2020

Your answers to these questions are down to your individual interpretation of each question.

As a society are we really that social anymore – like it used to be?

It really depends on where you are in the world. In my own country, I am pretty social and so are my friends. My extended family, not so much. Probably too busy with life, and their own family. That is all pre-corona scenario.

If only l was twenty years younger l would … ?

I wouldn’t be blogging, that’s for sure! Teenage kids are way too much responsibility. I would probably be going slightly bonkers with two teenagers and one pre-teen in the house.

Is society ruder more now than it used to be back in the day?

Again, it’s where you live. The western world is more permissive and language is way free-er than before. Cursing in all age groups is common so rudeness creeps in even when not intended.

Is our world hyperfocusing progression on the wrong things or in the wrong direction?

Probably yes!

Wealth and power have always been the hallmark of success according to society, but now it’s become the be-all and end-all of the efforts of most people. Popularity has become the coveted goal instead of a good peaceful life.

Do you think there is any truth what so ever to any current conspiracy theories?

Who can say for sure?

Are you more confused about the shape of our world today more so than when younger?

I don’t think so. Now I know more than when I was younger and feel that issues have been needlessly complicated.

Do we as a society simply have too many labels and too many label hunters?

Too many labels; yes!

Label hunters, I don’t think so. At least I don’t know of any that is!

Are you more or less family orientated?

Totally family-oriented. I guess it’s a cultural thing. In Asian cultures, life revolves around family.

Do you dress up ‘smart’ to go out or is your style more casual all day every day?

In my own country, I dress up enough to be respectable and decent. When I was in n USA, it was casual all the time.

With the current ‘pandemic’ do you miss ‘Yesterday’s way of life or not?

Not much. Going out is risky so I prefer to stay home and safe! Though I do miss meeting friends for a meal of coffee.

What do you class as adventurous?

It’s an individual thing. For me, my 26-28 hours journey home was an adventure. For someone else, climbing Mount Everest is an adventure.

Are you more conventional brick and mortar shopper or online and Internet buyer styled?

Nowadays, I prefer online shopping. But before Covid-19, I liked to go to an actual store or a mall to do my shopping. It provides entertainment and satisfaction by shopping in person.

Do you think the music you personally listen to [as in your favourited artists over just generalised commercial listening] suit and reflect your true personality?

I never thought about it that way. I just go with the feel of the song. If I like it it goes on my play list.

But there are some songs that do speak to the inner me. And yes they can be called as truly reflecting my personality.

What’s your average ‘online screen time’ equate to per day in hours?

I am blogging all day long. Not consistently but sporadically. So I think around 5-6 hours. I blog from my phone and would pick it to check my blog after every few minutes.

Are you currently happy with your Government’s management of your country?
[If you wish to simply answer yes or no you can, equally if you wish to elaborate in more depth you can do that too]

Nopes! Is there anyone who is?

How many actual ‘real people’ as opposed to virtual people do you actually give a damn about and what happens to them?

I care about my family, friends and mine and my husband’s extended family. So all in all they are around hundred people. And I am deeply concerned about my blogging family too. So I’d say a couple of hundred people.

Quick!! No body’s watching!! What crazy thing would you do if nobody was watching which you can’t do normally because it embarasses you or is perhaps a little too naughty?

Do a little jig as I walk with my favorite song playing in my earbuds! Shhh….. don’t tell anyone.

If you HAD to leave the country in a hurry and in a disguise – what have you done??

Wrote lot if anti- Trump posts on my blog!

What are some of the most adventurous or craziest/strangest or weirdest things you would like to do before you die?

I think since I somehow missed on the adventure gene, I will probably like to write a book ( that would become an instant bestseller) before I die!

What is your opinion or do you have any thoughts on the whole virtual reality industry and the way it will soon become more of an acceptable way of life in the replacement of holidays, adventures and or the workplace?

Never did think about virtual reality seriously. Maybe if I’m faced with the option, I would think about it seriously.

What do people always get wrong about you when first starting to get to know you?

Maybe that I am a snobby person, whereas I am just shy. 😅

What’s the strangest dream/nightmare you have ever had?

I never remember my dreams or nightmares long enough to write about them. But one thing I do remember from my teen years that I used to dream that my mom was still alive, just living somewhere else. I guess too many stories around that theme caused these dreams.

What’s the most trouble you have ever been in?

Me! In trouble!!!

What’s the worst date you’ve been on and why?

A dinner date with my husband where the discussion about politics got a bit too heated. But we really forgot all about it the next day!

Twelve Bloggerz

Welcome to 12 Bloggerz … the monthly topical question feature ….

Game #2 – June 2020

Meet the Bloggerz Directory

How spontaneous are you?

I would say that I am more impulsive than spontaneous. I do things on a whim, often to regret them later.

How flirtatious would you say you are and if that is not the word you would use then try the alternatives of ‘teasing or playful’ either way – how much are you of this?

I would never describe myself as flirtatious. Neither teasing or anything of that nature. I can be “innocently ” playful but never anything more with anyone other than my husband!

How serious are you as a person?

Though I am naturally an optimistic person and like to be happy and smiling most of the time, by nature I think I am a serious person. I take life seriously most of the time.

Do you think the older we become certain emotions are easier to handle – say as an example ‘grief?’

Yes, definitely it’s true for me. I think our life experiences teach us to be more accepting of whatever comes our way. But not all people react like that. For some age brings fragility of emotions and they break down easily when overwhelmed.

What is the most adventurous thing you have done to date?

I took a ride, my first and last one in a chair lift. The getting down was a nightmare, never to be undertaken again. Ever! I swore off them after that!

What’s the craziest or riskiest thing you have ever done and simply got away with it or gotten caught doing it?

What me????

Crazy or risky thing?

Never! 😛

What do you think the future is of dating and other ‘other’ now that social distancing has become part of your life? Will your life ‘up close and personal’ with people now be different?

This doesn’t apply to me as I am happily married. For others, I think they will have to balance the risks and advantages and then decide.

How different do you really think you are to the next person – are you prim and proper, or straight-laced and serious, wild and abandoned or rebellious and controversial?

We are different from each other, aren’t we?

I am a bit rebellious, a bit prim and proper, a bit serious and a bit funny!

During this time of global concern how has your thinking changed with regards the planet, conservation, climate issues …..or has it not changed one little bit?

I was always an advocate for global preservation. Now I am more than ever convinced that humans who are harming the environment, can also save it by being more conscious. We just need to see how much things have changed environmentally by the forced incarceration of human beings!

What ‘topical issues’ considered ‘taboo’ by society are you deeply passionate with and about to the point of doing something about it?

I am more of a concerned type than deeply passionate! And my concerns are both taboo and non-taboo topics.

I would ask people to speak up about domestic abuse, mental health, and violence.

What’s more important and or is there a difference between ‘Friendship and Companionship and if so what is that difference?

I think in a relationship, we start with love and end with companionship and friendship. Both phases are important and both make for a lasting relationship.

What is your passion with regards writing genres – 1] what is your chosen genre and 2] what is the genre you might like to write about but lack confidence to start?

I think I have written almost all sorts of posts. I find that fiction is not my strength. Poems are more my thing but poetry for the sake of poetry is not for me. For me, a post either poetry or prose should have a message embedded in it.

I would like to write humor but somehow, I lack the ability to do so. It would be fun to make people smile!
