A very happy Mother’s Day to all women, moms, stepmoms, and those who are more than moms. You are our superheroes.

My kids gifted these to me.

As a side note, due to the political situation in my country, the government has been interfering in all social media platforms. I cannot play most videos on WP. And strangely enough, I can’t like posts or comments. I hope this issue resolves soon. Please pray for our country.

  2. I read something about your former prime minister getting arrested and also that there were some killings, but I hope all the trouble goes away soon. I hope that you have a happy Mother’s Day, Sadje.

      1. I know that we all wish it was otherwise, but I think in the end, all government is corrupt. A little or a lot, often a matter of how much is at stake. Maybe it’s something in the nature of government, but however idealistically it begins, it never stays that way. Not yet, anyway.

    1. Thanks Punam. Our situation is very disturbing politically. Personally we stay off roads to avoid getting caught in the middle of any political movement. I’m grateful for your concern

  36. Belated Happy Mother’s Day. I do hope your politcs gets better.
    It seems in ever country each day politics just gets worse. And those you thought you liked, are smeared with heresay – It is so hard to trust any political figure.

    Hubby took me out to dinner… one child called (perhaps at the prompting of his partner), the other, a parent (did not)… But in general ‘hubby’s’ side were not big on most secular or blown out of preportion holidays of any kind – even birthdays after one is 18.

    At a certain point any day we wake healthy and happy is a good day. 😀
