Writing a story was never my strong point and though I have improved with time I still find it difficult to write fiction.

Most of the stories I write are based on some incident in my life or of those around me and I fictionalize it to make it more interesting, and less like an account of a real incident.

Forging stories out of thin air is a skill that few people possess, sadly I’m not one of them.

That’s the reason that I love prompts, story starters, phrases, or scene settings that make my brain come up with a plot and write accordingly.

I still do try to write fictional tales to expand my horizons and to acquire new skills, but I do have a sneaking suspicion that my stories tend to have similar plots and run along the same lines.

  5. It can be easy to write around the same idea, but I don’t get that feeling with your stories. I enjoy them and the positive outlook that you often weave into your posts. Keep writing. 🙂

  10. I have to agree with the other insightful comments, your work is positive, engaging, and refreshing. Sadje Yep, we will be repetitive, regardless of the story, poem, or article. It’s how we put a fresh spin on the topic. That’s what you do my dear! 🤗💖🥰

  17. Like everyone else Sadje, I enjoy your writing. I think all ideas are probably triggered from somewhere, so prompts work for you – I’d say just go with the flow. What you’re doing works

  21. I never feel that your writing is repetitive, Sadje! It is uniquely your voice, but with many different styles and subjects. I frequently wonder how you can come up with so many different posts and topics throughout the week! Please keep writing what you enjoy, because it bring so much enjoyment to your readers 💞💞💞
