➰➰➰
On the palm of my right hand
In crooked lines is drawn a map
My soul and spirit depicted in fragile lines
Intersecting and overlapping lines
That says a lot if you knew how to read
The map of my soul on my palm
➰➰➰
Word count; 44
New to the Q? Here’s your map of what to do:
Pen us a poem of exactly 44 words, not counting the title, and containing some form of the word map. Post your poem on your own blog, and link up using Mr. Linky below. Then travel around the blogisphere to read some of the best poets around. The Quadrille is open all week, so be sure to come back to read and write some more!

I like the way your quadrille begins and ends with the palms of the hands, like hands pressing together in prayer, or holding the poem in the palms of the hands. I love the lines:
‘My soul and spirit depicted in fragile lines
Intersecting and overlapping lines’.

I meet someone who read palms. I forget which but one had told the future but after a certain age the other hand is used. I think if we work hard and play hard and live good all the lines will lead to joy. 😀

Beautifully written, Sadje! A person’s hands can say so much, even if you don’t know how to read palms! 💞💞💞
