My posts in A to Z challenge this April will be on questions!

Why time passes slowly when we are WAITING?
That’s Einstein’s law of relativity, you’ll tell me
Or perhaps our eagerness for time to move quickly slows it down
The hands of the clock slow to a crawl and even the ticking takes longer
Glancing again and again at the clock doesn’t help with waiting
The only way to pass the time quickly is to occupy oneself
In chores or tasks that are engrossing and challenging
And before we know it, the wait is over, and whatever or whoever we were waiting for
Is suddenly before us, and you remark; “Oh times passed so quickly, I didn’t even notice!”

Some things are like marking time. Others come about in rapid time. We just gotta Go with time flow.

Isn’t it odd how we say life is so short, when it’s the longest thing we’ll ever know? Loved this read, Sadje!

Thanks Heather! Humans have a very long lifespan as compared to most animals

As much as one is bound to time and measure one’s days by it, there’s a freedom in knowing that at one’s basic thought level we are outside of time…really.

The older I get the more selective about what I spend my time on. There are so many distractions, I literally don’t have time for them all.

Thanks for sharing John! Yes indeed we need to spend our time wisely.

Anger makes time go slowly, joy makes it flit by. Perhaps emotions control relativity?

Perhaps they change our perception of time.

Yes, perhaps when we are in our limbic brain of emotion, we exist before wristwatch time…

Now that’s a very complicated reasoning and it flew right over my head 😅

Sorry it was unclear. I meant to say that back when our limbic or emotional brains were in charge all the time, it was before humans had invented timepieces.
