A to Z Challenge- Questions-O

My posts in A to Z challenge this April will be on questions!

Do we always make judgments with OBJECTIVITY?

I’m afraid if we’re honest, we would admit no

Many a times our decisions are clouded by our opinions

Preconceived notions and prejudices color our vision

Though we claim and try to be fair at all times, all occasions

But that worm of judgement tries to wriggle in

And influences our rational and unbiased decisions

It is hard I agree, but try we must to always be objective and fair

And not to let our views be tainted by the lenses of partiality

  1. I think it is impossible to do when asked to judge right at the time/moment.
What questions are being asked and by whom?

“What do you really think of my new dress?” a friend may ask. I certainly don’t want to hurt her feelings. 😦
But if we were in the store together and she asked about a dress on a rack, I might be a bit more forth coming about the material or the cost or the workmanship.

The best we can do is be aware of when and where decisions are made and to whom and why we are making them.

And to you, dear sadje, I always try to be truthful and know you accept my answers on that basis. 🙂

    1. Thanks my friend for your candid response. Yes it does depends on the situation. But I do try to keep an open mind and I’ve learned a lot since I’ve started my blog.

  2. Very, very true and quite thought provoking, Sadje! Our experiences also color the way we respond and think about things. We can really see a jump in our growth and understanding when we take time to listen to another’s viewpoint and where they are coming from. 💞💞💞

    1. Not even a judge is objective all the time. But we can try. I’ve changed my way of thinking a lot since I’ve started blogging and have met so many people from all walks of life.
