Mother nature, mighty yet loving and tender

Nurtures and protects us from the elements 

Makes us safe from what endangers our survival 

We have to take care not to earn her anger and wrath

With her might she can crush our existence in a blink of an eye

This planet is our home and we are the tenants

Enough damage she has sustained through our hands

Lay down these weapons of destruction, it is time

The mother needs to be protected and saved

The ruinous ways of human beings need to change

Just commemorating an earth day isn’t enough anymore

We need to wake up and act before it is too late

    Your words need to be hung in the halls of wise sayings….wherever that may be.
    I’m going to copy them and save/hang them in a special folder.
