I’m re-Sharing this post in response to Weekly Prompts – Gap, hosted by Sue W and GC 

For visually challenged writers, the image shows a rainbow-rayed sun shinging through the apex of a triangle created by two trees leaning together. The viewer stands on dark, shadowed ground,while the gap through the trees leads to a brilliant green lawn.

I wonder

What lies beyond

This landscape green

These trees thriving

These brilliant sun rays

What lies beyond I often wonder

Can I comprehend tomorrow

Can I see the future yet undecided

Do I want to know really

What lies beyond this gap?
