It also gives peace of mind to you

And let’s us sleep better at night

  12. My gramma used to tell us that the more you give the more you will be given. She was right, I have never gone without anything I need. I might not have all I want but I always have what I need.

  15. Yes, a lovely poem. I am a humanist and I don’t feel that modern
    Humanism has enough emphasis on giving since it has to spend so much time fighting to be heard though I am sure individual humanists are as charitable as any other religiously motivated people. Back in the 19th century, secular societies were still organised on a congregational level and then I think they did a lot more direct, charitable work…
