Sharing my world- Entertainment

SYW is graciously hosted by Di every Monday.

Here are my questions this week:

1. Do you have a favourite movie?

I like a lot of movies and some I’ve watched multiple times. Mostly they fall into the fantasy and sci-fi categories. Like the Marvel Universe movies, Harry Potter, TLOTR, etc. You get the drift.

2. Who is you favourite actor and actress?

Anthony Hopkins is one actor who is a favorite, and so was the late Sean Connery ( but not his James Bond movies). I liked Tom Hanks and seldom miss any of his movies. For female actors, I like Emma Thompson, Julia Roberts and Meryl Streep.

3. Do you attend or have you ever attended a live theatre production?

Very recently I went to see my first ever play in a theater, performed by real actors and not school children. It was a political satire and was quite entertaining.

4. Have you ever wanted to be an actor/actress?

No, never.

Gratitude:

April brings three birthdays in our immediate family. My eldest daughter, and two grandchildren all born in April. This year, Eid-ul-Fitr will also fall in the 21-22 April, so it’s a month of celebration for us.

  1. Thanks for joining in Sadje. With you on Sean Connery and Tom Hanks, as well as Meryl Streep. I also like Sandra Bullock as I’ve seen her in a number of movies, The Blind Side was something totally different for her and very good I thought. My, April is a busy month for you!

    1. It’s not that I’d intentionally put on the movie or go buy a ticket to watch it in the theater, but if it’s playing on tv, I’d just sit and watch it again. Thanks for sharing your thoughts

      1. For me, as I don’t have a tv now, which I haven’t had for a number of years, when not at friends watching a movie it’s dvd’s for me. So I have a bit of a collection for the ones I like to watch again. 🙂
