There’s a space that’s only mine

A place that I keep solely for my thoughts

Inside my soul resides my muse

The one who inspires me to write poetry and prose

She’s always ready to inspire my brain

Supplying ideas for me to expand upon

With gratefulness, I protect my special space

And share it only with my beloved muse
