On 11th March, we celebrated your birthday, all four siblings. Sometimes we tried to surprise you but you almost always found out as you knew that it would be beyond us to forget that special day.

A couple of weeks after your 74th birthday, you had a stroke. It happened late at night on 1st April. At first, I thought my brother was pranking me but I immediately realized that he wouldn’t do anything so cruel. You passed away early morning the next day.

It’s been 19 years since then. Every year I think This year’s a different thing,
I’ll not think of you.” But every year on 11th March, you’re in my thoughts and prayers.

  13. Sadje, I know you lost your mom very early and so your dad took on the role of both parents. You and your siblings showed him how much he was loved and I’m sure he feels your thoughts of missing him on his special day.
