Deep down in my heart

I know that in your eyes

The glow of love I can see

Will illuminate our lives

For love is selfless, giving

It is blind to the flaws in our personalities

It’s deaf to the moaning of discontent

It is generous and ever rewarding

That’s why it glows like a candle

The only source of light in the darkness
