These days registering a complaint is easy
Just log into the website and log your complaint
The tricky bit comes later when you want to
Know what is your complaint status
Hours long hold on the phone is the norm
If you’re lucky you get y y o talk to a real person
And luckier still if the provide information regarding your issue
Otherwise forget about the whole thing
Maybe one day your issue will be resolved!

Indeed, fingers crossed 🤞🏼 is the right approach

Exactly. Well said Sadje. One might get a reply if one is persistent. But then again who has that kind of time.

Sometimes it’s wiser to put up with something than attempt to complain!

Yes, everything is online. Writing down the reference number has helped me in the future to get it closed.

Very wise to have the reference number at hand. Thanks

So true.. It is easy to log a complaint but tracking and tracing can be a nightmare 🙈

I don’t know why companies enjoy their customer’s having to jump through hoops to resolve a problem. 🤷🏻♀️

Me neither! There is too much red tape involved

That’s exactly how it goes. Wonderful , Sadje.💕

So true … and so frustrating. Then they have the cheek to ask for customer feedback 😡

Haha! Yes they do. But over here they would ask only if they’ve given me good advice

Thats good. A couple of times I’ve been really livid with something, complaint hasn’t been resolved, then I get a message asking for feedback about their customer service – I don’t miss them

Perhaps they want to improve?

It is so annoying to get those computerized messages to ‘push 1 for … ‘ ‘push 2 for … ‘ and you can never get a real person on the line! Another complaint that never gets resolved is the WP happiness engineers that never bring any solutions to a problem. 🙂

Oh yes, that is very annoying.

I doubt it will be resolved because most company’s don’t seem to care what we think. Those that DO care usually provide a survey and a call-back number. The rest? Complain all you want. They really don’t care.

Yes you’re probably right.

I had an issue with local government. The people were nice, but all the regulations meant nothing happened. Took eight months to resolve

Yes, you have the same system that we have. All wrapped up in government regulations and red tape

I had to rant in Facebook one time just for our old internet service provider to take notice. I went to their office before doing that but I’ve been given the run around. They have very bad customer service and I’m glad I left them and got a better provider

Changing the service provider is a good option.
