Cancer, the crab

Crushed under the feet

Of the mighty Hercules

Invades society and souls

Corrupts and distorts everything

Beware of its evil and be cautious

Catch it before it causes harm to you

  10. Those first three lines are brilliant. How do you even think of such a metaphor? I can’t believe I’m saying “fabulous and brilliant” about cancer! But your poem is exactly how I feel!
