Celebrating the end of the year

December 21: Christmas, Hanukkah, or Winter Solstice

Winter Solstice

A day to remember

Its almost the end of the year

The days lengthening gradually

The nights get shortening every day

New hopes to look forward to, new dreams to dream

This is a beautiful message by Margaret Atwood;

This is the solstice, the still point of the sun, it’s cusp and midnight, the year’s threshold and unlocking, where the past let’s go of and becomes the future; the place of caught breath”

Celebrate and find joy at this time

One year is ending another beginning

Keep the candle of hope burning bright

Time like a river flows endlessly till the end

  1. The world feels a lot different after the winter solstice . . . amazing how the smallest change amounts to so much. Wishing you a happy new year, Sadje 💙
