This month we’ll try a Japanese poetry form; dodoitsu. It is non-rhyming, with a humorous twist.Dodoitsu has four lines: 7 syllables, 7 syllables, 7 syllables, 5 syllables. Please write about harvest or nature.

ooh, I like it. I might just hop in one day this month and write a Dodoitsu– a new form for me. Thanks for drawing my attention to it. Right now, I’m head over heels with tanka and practicing on my own often. Thanks, Sadje. xoxo

We are still waiting for some cold here. Usually, we get some cold weather in November, not really cold but colder than just cool.

It has, and was almost warm yesterday, but today dawned foggy and cold. So you’re right.
