Melanie- You will be missed so

Today I was devastated by the news of Melanie’s passing away.

I had No photograph of Melanie so I am using a screenshot of her blog site.

From her site, this is what she said about herself;

“About

I am 62 years of age. I was born, raised, and have lived in Utah my whole life. I have a twisted, rather bitter, and cynical outlook on almost everything. And an opinion. Just ask me, you’ll find out.

I have been fortunate to be able to move to a small town where I plan to live out my remaining years with my dog, Ziggy Stardust.

I am an ‘attendance challenged’ LDS Church member (or Mormon).

I am widowed and have no plans to remarry ever. See the sentences about opinionated, bitter, and cynical as to a clue as to why. I like (maybe love) to write. That’s why I’m here. I hope you enjoy the experience!”

The news of her passing is so sad. I know most of the bloggers knew her in our community. We are all shocked with this unexpected news. I can only say that the news of her peaceful passing is of some consolation to her friends. She was afraid of a prolonged illness and pain that comes with it.

May you rest in peace my dear friend. Amen.

  11. Oh no. May her soul rest in eternal peace. I’ve visited and commented on quite a few blog posts of hers in the past. In 2021, we used to chat in her comments, checking on her health, but then I started schooland writing books and drifted away. It’s so sad.😷

        1. Yes, I think it was very sudden. Perhaps it was a blessing for her. I remember how worried she was being chronically ill, or running out of resources before her life’s end. May she rest in peace.
