Sharing my World; October 24, 2022

Thank you Di for hosting SYW challenge this week too.

Questions;

1. How organised are you? Do you plan ahead, take things as they come, or does it depend on the circumstances?

I used to be very organized but lately, I’m learning to be more spontaneous. The urge to plan things to the last detail does starts to creep into my brain but I try to ward off this. It’s good to be open to sudden changes at times.

2. How many Christmas presents have you bought already?

No Christmas celebration so no gifts needed to be purchased. We do give gifts to each other on birthdays and gift money ( Eidie) on Eid.

3. Do you prefer a family gathering for special occasions, or just you and your significant other?

If it’s a wedding anniversary celebration, we go by ourselves for a dinner date. But if it’s a birthday or any other holiday celebration, I gather the family around for a home-cooked meal. It is much more fun to share special days with children and grandchildren around us.

4. How many words do you think your pet understands?

When our cat was living indoors, he definitely understood NO very well. Even now a simple no will stop him from trying to come into the house.

Please share a gratitude meme for your readers.

“Be grateful for your strength to face your troubles and overcome your sorrows”

  2. I’d like to plan ahead. But no matter how many times I planned, execution always failed. So I skip planning all. Lol. I just do what I feel like doing at the present.

  3. Planning and organized are always intended but inevitable monkey wrenches always make there way in so I go with the flow.

    Love Thanksgiving because I host and everyone comes and brings a gift and there are no gifts but ornament exchange which is fun.. ❤️

    1. I fully agree with you Cindy. It’s time to let go of the desire to have everything perfect. Thanksgiving is just round the corner. I hope it goes well. Will the second phase of remodeling be done by then?
