Take this pathway

I have made sure that you don’t lose your way

The signpost bears a special message for you

You will see my hat on top of the footpath sign

Take that direction and keep on it till you get to me

I’ll be waiting for you at the end of the pathway

And we will have loads of fun together as we used to do

When we played truant from school to go playing

No matter we are well in our sixties now

We still have that naughty zest to break rules

And enjoy ourselves when others least expect it of us!

  1. Youth need not be wasted on the young. They live life like it will last forever, but the young at heart, we can be just as playful and fun but we savour those naughty moments when we get the chance.
