The sliver of the moon shining in the sky
It’s silver crescent casting timeless glow
The water of the ocean reflecting it
In endless shining waves going on and on
A visual treat for the weary travelers
Chancing to look upon this beautiful scene

Beautifully weaved, Sadje. I’ll be at the coast in about a month, and I am looking forward to seeing the moon over the water. Such a lovely sight.

Beautiful.
This reminds me of an art project we had back in my elementary days. Also, when my dad was still in the Navy, he captained a ship and took us with him. I saw the clearest night sky with so many stars and a sight that’s much like this.

Yes, quite beautiful. The name for that silver glow on the water is called a ‘moonglade’. 🙂

Not a common word. Like petrichor – the smell after a spring rain 🙂
“a pleasant smell that frequently accompanies the first rain after a long period of warm, dry weather…”other than the petrichor emanating from the rapidly drying grass, there was not a trace of evidence that it had rained at all”

I like petrichor! And do like this smell.

Water soothing the parched earth…
But then once the famers add fertilizer to the fields… well then you really know it is spring!
