Purple- A marriage between red and blue

the color of sky at dusk deepening to dark

the shade of clouds when ready to rain

Purple streaks of lightning zigzagging in the dark

Purple the color of royalty

Purple the color of irises swinging in the breeze

Purple is the essence of calm and quietude

It serenades the agitated mind makes it relaxed

Color me purple and sing me a lullaby
