Loud chirping attracts my attention

Looking towards the tree in the yard

I see so many birds, talking loudly amongst themselves

The topic must be politics as I see a lot of disagreement

Theatrical antics from the little feathered critters

As they fly away to come back with vigor again and again

I watch amused and spellbound for many an hours

Who said that drama is only the domain of humans?
