Traveling by car

August 24: Travel/Transportation: Cars or Trucks

Writer’s Quotes Wednesdays (a Photo or Writing Challenge)

It doesn’t really matter what is the size of your car! As long as it can take you from start to finish in comfort and without breaking down.

Always be in charge

Don’t let someone else

Influence the way you live

Or drive (it’s the same thing)

I couldn’t repair your brakes so I made your horn louder”

I loved the Pixar movie, “Cars” since I watched it that first time with my grandson who was I think around 3. We then used to watch it every day for months but I never got tired of it. It had wonderful life lessons to teach us. And “Mater” was the best friend McQueen could have. A bit goofy but wise in his goofiness and loyal. This quote from him is what really matters, if the brakes won’t be able to stop you in time, you can honk loudly to let others know you’re coming!

  1. I absolutely agree EXCEPT for all the people who drive drunk and/or stoned. Drivers who drive while texting or talking on the phone. Trying to drive while yelling at the kids or playing with their sound system. There are an awful lot of people who drive like they are the only ones on the road. Not only do they have accident, they CAUSE accidents.
