(For the visually challenged writer, the image shows two men walking in opposite directions in the middle of a downpour).
➰➰➰
It would be easy enough to come away from that encounter thinking that nobody had noticed that clandestine exchange of notes between the two men walking in opposite directions in the rain. Walter was sure that his passing of information was not on the radar of his bosses.
But he was mistaken!
When the next morning he was called into his boss’s office he was not apprehensive at all. Little did he know that the guy he had passed on the vital information, was a spy for the management and he was there in the boss’s office with the info he had given him.
Walter was asked to clean his office and collect his dues on the way out. What the management didn’t know was that Walter had made copies of the vital documents which were now in a safe place at his home. He would soon be contacting a rival firm for a position in exchange for that information.

A piece sizzling with suspense. Smells of hot action. Reminds me of spy documentaries I watched some time back and detective stories I read in my childhood.
Great take, Sadje.
