In response to Weekly Prompts- Journey by Sue W and GC, I’m re-sharing this post from last year, September 3rd. It fits the prompt very well.

“The journey matters as much as the goal.” ~ Kalpana Chawla
What a coincidence, I am going on a journey today. We are traveling to another city to explore possibilities and opportunities.
Pack your bags, collect the essentials
Time to start on a journey to explore new possibilities
New pursuits can be challenging but rewarding too
Unless we find the courage to step out we will never find
What new joys tomorrow has in store for us
Keeping the spirit of adventure alive is so important
Humans are meant to move around and not grow roots

That has been my experience with the violin so far. New journeys are always there for us to take. ^_^

Very right. We won’t see anything new if we stay in one place

The poem “Soul Light,” that I posted on your blog back in July. Was a featured poem for The Avocet online magazine for this week. Thank you for the photo prompt and I reposted to my blog

Inspiring poem Sadje. So much joy come from exploring, I find. I agree that the journey is as enriching as the destination.

I like this–does it mean your foot is healed?

It’s on its way to healing. This poem was written last year.

Oh, sorry–I missed the part about it being last year’s poem. But you are healing, and taking it easy I hope.💖

Thanks Maria! It aches at times but I can walk around and that’s a wonderful feeling.
