For ordinary people, it was enough to chain the bike to the pole and put a lock on it.

But Sam was very security conscious and he added another layer to the safety of his bike. He took off both the wheels and took them with him to his office.

But as luck had it, someone stole the wheels where he had hid them and now his bike is chained here, wheel-less waiting forlornly!

  1. I had my bike stolen while I was in college at the UW in my sorority bike room. I had the it chained through the front wheel. One of my “sisters” left the front wheel and chain and took off with the bike!
