Azure blue hue
Summer intensifies
Clouds like poems floating high

Obviously L.M. Montgomery wasn’t talking about the month of June in a hot, tropical country. In colder western climates, summer is a welcomed, sought after season. For us, in hotter climes, this would equate to spring season where everything is just perfect. The weather, the duration of the day and the beautiful flowers all around us.

The seasons do not matter
As long as you are by my side
The sun need not shine
As long as your glowing self is next to me

It went well. First few days are going to be painful and I hope it becomes bearable

I have been blessed to experience both tropical and temperature summers…both awesome.
May your day be bliss, my friend.
Cheers😊

It’s hot as blazes here (101 temp) and who knows what the heat index is! I’m trying my hand at nectarine tea (I have a ton.) Fingers crossed it turns out well…which reminds me of why I’m writing…since this is the growing season and all…your quotes above remind me of one of my favorite quotes, “Bloom where you’re planted!” which is what I’m trying to do, making iced tea and appreciating the air conditioner! 🙂 Mona

Air conditioner makes life in this heat bearable. Great quote, thanks for sharing

Beautiful poetry, Sadje. The quotes are lovely too. Hope you are resting easy, and on the way towards healing.

Your poems and quotes hit the spot, Sadje. I agree, June is not the same everywhere. In Scottsdale, 90 miles south of us, the temperatures are over 105 every day in June. I hope it is lovely where you are. 🙂

Thanks Marsha! June here is very hot but dry so we get by with air conditioning. But July becomes humid because of rain/ monsoon and that’s a challenge.

We are having our monsoon season right now. It’s quite beautiful, but it cuts down on outdoor time. We welcome the cooler weather, though.
