QUESTIONS
What is one topic you really like to talk about? Or something you really want to tell people?
I am a giver of free advice!
So I like to sort out the problems of my family and friends. Mostly I give advice on medical issues. Sometimes I also talk about life and religion. But I only talk to those who are willing to listen.
What do you normally never tell strangers about yourself? (be general, I don’t need to know details or invade privacy)
I wish that there were things that I didn’t talk about! My family says that I share too many details and too much information about things that are no concern to others. I wish that I could control my desire to share.
Have you ever broken anything? (can be health related, emotion related, or situation related – you define “broken anything” for your own satisfaction)
Three years ago I broke my footbones in three places. Before that, I broke the two cartilages in my right knee. These are things in my body that I broke. Other than that I have broken many things because I’m very clumsy.
Is having a big ego a negative trait or positive trait?
I think that it’s both an advantage and a disadvantage. The advantage is that people with big egos are very confident in their own abilities. They go boldly forward without the fear of failure.
The disadvantage is that they don’t ask for or accept help. Even when they know they need help, their ego stops them from asking or accepting help from others.
GRATITUDE SECTION:
What aspects of your city or neighborhood are you grateful for?
Since the summer break has started, I’ve come to Lahore. It’s a huge sprawling city with all the amenities of modern life available here. I’m grateful that the surgery that’s planned for the end of this month will be performed by a very capable surgeon in this city. And best of all, most of my family is here to lend me moral and statistical support.

Thank you Melanie, for these interesting questions.

Thank you for Sharing Your Beautiful World Sadje! You take such exquisite photos, that one can almost smell the beautiful fragrance of the flowers! I hope you are well and that the surgery is accomplished successfully without undue pain or trauma! I have my second cataract removal next Wednesday. Having been ill lately I believe that having a good support system is mandatory for a good outcome to any surgery and you are very blessed to have your family provide that for you! Best of luck! It’s been interesting to hear the various labels people have given themselves if they are prone to ‘clumsy’ behavior. I would think it’s more bad fortune or ill timing and I bet a lot of folks (if not everyone) breaks things sometimes. I have a sibling who we called “accident prone” because he was always getting hurt and breaking a bone or a tooth or getting bruises and black eyes from walking into doors and stuff. He is very touchy about the whole subject and gets quite angry if someone says that to him now. Even though he is still that way. I keep my opinion to myself. As to the sharing on your part or over-sharing? I think it’s because you have such a large compassionate heart and truly want to help other people. As long as it doesn’t harm you somehow, where’s the problem with giving good advice (yours seems very sensible and sound to me)? Have a great week and again, best wishes on your procedure!

Thank you so much Melanie! Your words are always so kind and thoughtful. My own thoughts are the same as yours about sharing and advice, just trying to help. As for being clumsy, that point, I think has been proven without doubt. But maybe there’s a physical reason for it too, like being flat footed. I hope that your other cataract surgery goes smoothly. Lots of love and healing thoughts. 💖
