I am writing to express my opinion, share my experiences and to maybe provide some insight. My blog is addressing women at 50 ( but men are welcome to read my posts) ,their issues and the questions that come up at this stage in life. I don’t aim to teach, but to learn together.

I can feel this one and definitely relate, Sadje! It’s always a pleasure to have you join in. Btw, your comment indicates you are anonymous in my post. Maybe a WP glitch/
Just need to keepy myself and hubby in clean clothes, fed and some enternainment. He’s off golfing (special late afternoon rate) – so I’m catching up. I did more ‘chores’ this morning 😀

Fabulous! Well penned Sadje. Love the last line… short vs long versus sleep and reality…very lovely juxtaposition.😊

I no longer have to use an alarm clock. Being retired, I just sleep until I wake up. One of the best things about retirement!

Haha, very relatable. Although I have a kitty alarm clock who always makes sure I get up early to get her breakfast.

The same for me. I don’t get up right away after my alarm goes off just so my brain can fully “wake up”
