This week the provocative question from Fandango is;
Where do you see yourself five years from now?
I am at that stage in life that I don’t think that far ahead. Who knows if I will be alive after five years or not.
What I do wish for is to be healthy and self-reliant if I’m around five years from now. I have no job or career for which I’d have ambitions. I’m a stay-at-home mom/grandma who has a lot of time on my hands. I try to be sensible, about my health, walk daily and try not to go overboard with my eating sprees.
I hope I’ll still be blogging in five years. And that you all, my good blogging friends will still be reading my posts. I have some plans to compile an ebook of poems that I’ve previously published. That may happen if I can overcome the inertia of taking that first step.
And I do agree with you Fandango that this is a silly question to ask in an interview. And yet many people do ask this question.

I think very much along the same lines as you. I’m at the stage where I do as I want not what I’m told!

I’d perhaps reply, meet me five years from now. 🙂
Honestly I don’t want to think ahead anymore, just pray that my present happiness sails me through.

That is a difficult question and one I have never had an answer to. But then, I have never been much of a planner.

I think it would be easy to answer in reference to career or business. In person life, it’s not that clear.

I don’t try to plan beyond a year, life can change so drastically from one day to the next.
