When the night falls
The universe quietens too
Till it gets dark enough
To wake up the night creatures
A whoosh of quiet wings
Heralds the arrival of an owl
A rustling bush makes us wonder
Which one of the nocturnal animals
Is setting out to fetch for it’s brood
The nature has an amazing system
The night has its own laws and rules
And day time has its different norms
Both co-exist in harmony
Not interfering with
Each other

There is a stark difference between night and day, but it all boils down to where the sun is.

Your verse reminds me of a show I saw about nocturnal scorpians! Interesting to find out that scorpians glow in the dark!

You’re right, Sadje, there is that quiet, as dusk falls, before the night shift/critters take over. I think the same occurs at the end of night just before the day shift/critters take over. It’s magic time.

It sure is Li. It all quiet before the dawn and then the first heralds are the birds! Announcing the day has arrived
