Welcome back to another Sunday Poser

Today my question to you is;
What do you forget to do on a regular basis?
I am usually good at remembering the important stuff, like taking my meds on time or washing my hair on alternate days.
Checking the front door before sleeping is one thing I do regularly. Also checking that all the electrical appliances are switched off before I go to bed is one thing I don’t forget.
But there are little things that I forget, regularly. One of them is flossing at night. One reason is that I’m very bad at the technique and usually make my gums bleed. Another thing that I forget, especially in winters is to wash my face properly before sleeping and put on the night cream that I have sitting on my nightstand! Perhaps that’s the reason that this night cream lasts a long time! 😂
I guess I only remember the important things and forget those I feel aren’t that important.
What about you; Is there something you forget on a regular basis?
Please share your thoughts in the comments section or you can write your own post and link it to this one so that I can find you.
Thanks for visiting and reading.

Drink my tea after I’ve made it. I get distracted and preoccupied, then it goes cold 🙈☕️

I forget to take time for my hobbies! I took up embroidery again after a 40-year hiatus (I was good at it in my teens and often embroidered jeans for hippies, LOL). But I’ve been working on the same spring themed flowers seen since June, often putting it down and not getting back to it for over a month at a time. It’s not just forgetting, it’s the time commitment. But embroidery is a great thing to do while listening to an audiobook. Thanks for the post; it’s nice to know I’m not alone in my forgetfulness!

Thanks Kim for sharing. Embroidery is a wonderful and creative hobby. I loved doing that when I was young. I hope you can find some time to do it again.

Oh Lol…that nice long lasting jar of night cream. 🤣
I find that short memory S the saying goes…is perhaps not a bad thing.

Yes, it’s not bad as I also forget unpleasant things too. Thanks Suzette

Taking my afternoon meds! Every day, I forget.

Afternoon is not a usual time for meds, I think that’s why you forget. Thanks for sharing

I have only one medication and I forgot it a few nights ago. I woke from a deep sleep, startled I had forgotten it. That was a first for me.

Once is I think okay. But not daily.

I won’t call it ‘forgetting’ but sometimes work takes a backseat as I spend more time on the blog. Correcting it though…

More like being too engrossed in it. Happens to me too and then I realize how late it is. Thanks for sharing Reena

As long as whatever it is that I don’t want to forget gets in my calendar, I’m good but it’s the remembering to put it in my calendar that I’m frequently forgetting. Oh, and going into the next room and forgetting why I went into it! lol

Yep, that’s an issue, too write it down. Those moments of blankness are a common occurrence. Thanks for sharing Susi

Gosh, unless I’m habituated to the activity, it’s on my calendar, or written down, I forget most things. Luckily, I habituate rather quickly…😅😅

That is good indeed! Writing or noting in the calendar helps too. Thanks for sharing

There are things I forget occasionally but not regularly. The worst is probably my meds, it is a good week when I can refill my whole med caddy instead of just 10 to 13 of the 14 slots.

Taking meds is so important and before it become a habit for me, I had phone reminders to remind me.
