My religion teaches us to be merciful as God is merciful. All verses of the Quran start in the name of Allah, most kind and merciful. And this quality of our Creator is celebrated in all revealed religions. Being kind and merciful makes us the best of humans!
Show mercy to receive mercy
Kindness begets kindness
Give love, you get more in return
Mollify the hard-heartedness
Don’t give in to hatred
Show mercy to receive mercy

Respond to this challenge, by either by using the prompt word mercy, or going with the above picture, or by means of the song ‘I’ll Take You There’

My mum told me recently that her and my father had chosen a “bit” from Quran for my Gran (her mother) to read out at their wedding. I can’t remember what part it was from, but it was really beautiful. This was in the early 80’s and they’re all English.

Beautiful prompt!!! The Bible has a similar focus—there’s one verse that I love: “The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness”. New mercies for each new day. That’s powerful!!!!

My religion, based on the Bible teaches that — If we are truly sorry for offending God, there is no sin, greater than the Mercy of God. Despair as what Judas did, forgot about the mercy of God, and the Bible said, that Jesus said, it would have been better if he was never born. Matthew 26 & Mark 14. Despair as in suicide is unforgivable because it is a sin against the Holy Ghost. Judas would have been forgiven if he did not despair as he did, and believed his sin was greater than the Mercy of God.

Quran also teaches us that. Despair and hopelessness are the opposite of faith.

Quran, do also tells us to be patience for whatever befalls on us, ask Allah for strength to overcome, and be hopeful because Allah will never ever disappoint you! He is Al – Fattah.
Patience is the key! ✨
