On my last visit to Lahore, we had a lot of rainy days. And unlike the usual winter rain which falls quietly and gently, there was a loud downpour this year. The country was experiencing a dry spell so the rain was very welcome. But when one is on vacation, it does makes life a bit inconvenient.
I was determined to go out, meet friends, shop, and eat out so we ignored the water from the sky and dashed around to do what we felt was more important than the fear of getting a bit wet!
At the end of the day, getting wet in the rain is a minor inconvenience as long as one doesn’t lose one’s head and slip in a puddle of water.
Now that would be bad!

I looked up Lahore. It has a very rich history and seems to be culturally rich. I am glad you enjoyed your vacation even in the rain.

Rain has not bothered me either. But at this stage of the game I too worry about slipping. Glad you enjoyed your holiday.

Slipping is something I’m very prone to and with two titanium knees, I really am very careful. Thanks Lauren. It was a wonderful vacation

An excellent way to look at things…as long as the time us spent well…let it rain. Lovely share Sadje. Thank you for sharing your journeys.

Lol! I’d hate to slip in a puddle, but I like splashing in them! 😀

Oh, I know all about getting around in the rain….lots of that here, as you know. Always good to be careful of the puddles! Thanks for sharing, Sadje.

Thanks Jeff. In Seattle it used to rain so often that one just stopped noticing it.

You’re welcome, Sadje. That made me laugh, because it is true. The rain just keeps happening, and you just keep doing…
