Chocolate colored skin
Beautiful and proud
Moulded to beautiful bones
Spine rigid with pride
Why sing the praise of ivory
When the ebony is just as charming
I find it funny when referred to
As a person of color by others
Because no one is without color
We all just different shades of brown
Respect all heritage, all birthrights
See goodness in all, regardless of their skin color

We don’t separate by eye color or hair color so why skin color… we are all of the human race.
