Sunday Poser # 61

Welcome to Sunday Poser # 61. The First Sunday of 2022

My first question for you all this year is;

What is your passion?

We all have that one thing that we are passionate about. Some are passionate about their jobs, while others about their hobbies. Some are very much into keeping their space tidy and organized.

My passion is being helpful to others. Even strangers! I have to stop myself to offer advice to people who are debating an issue. It is with great effort I keep my mouth shut till someone asks me for my help or advice.

Where family and friends are concerned, I am always available to help them with advice or physical or financial help. Sometimes it is enough to just listen and let them talk it out. Helping someone gives such a good feeling to me.

So what are you passionate about?

Please share your thoughts in the comments section or you can write your own post and link it to this one so that I can find it.

Thanks for visiting and reading.

  1. I think my passion is passion itself which seems to be lacking now. I suppose you could say the far right is passionate in their beliefs of bringing back antiquated laws and strict governance but to me passion begins with love and empathy—not seen as much as it needs to be. Just my opinion Sadje.

  2. I suppose it changes depending on what is going on in my life but I would say I will always be passionate about learning. This will keep me improving myself as well as my interactions with others and my world. Obviously, my other passion is writing but it’s more about expressing myself and being heard. As far as people, I’m passionate about understanding people and their stories, what they think, how they think, and how they live. And last but not least, I’m so passionate about my children’s happiness. While I know they have to find it for themselves but if I can add to it, I’m always thrilled to do so!

    1. Thanks Susi for sharing your passions with us. I really admire how you always encourage others and even promote their writing. Family is definitely a very important part of our lives.

      1. My pleasure. I’m happy to answer your posers! Thank you for saying so. I feel encouragement is perhaps the best way to show caring, specifically because it was something lacking so in my upbringing. And probably why I’m also passionate about the happiness of my immediate family. 🙂

  3. My greatest passion is living in the present moment, no matter what I’m doing…it’s always a process, sometimes it is easier and sometimes harder, yet being present with myself and other people is a gift I’ve learned to cherish deeply. Thanks for the prompt, Sadje.

  4. My family and friends are at the top of the list. I would have to put creativity next… words or crafts. And there may still be a little room left for my love of music. A good positive poser for the new year!

  5. Helping people is a great passion! I used to love helping people. I still help people sometimes, but experiences and people being nonappreciative has made me a bit reluctant to help people. I used to love giving people gifts as well but 1st, many people I know are prestigious and only accept expensive gifts which I can’t afford so I end up not getting them anything, or frantically looking for something “suitable” that I wouldn’t even buy for myself. Anyway, currently, my passion is poetry, I guess, and design. Im really enjoying creating designs for my shops.
