Winter wilderness

Pristine snow, untouched by human or animal lays waiting.

The winter wilderness is quiet, peaceful waiting silently.

When will the crowds of happy skiers, frolicking skaters return to these slopes?

  1. I think one has to really enjoy layering and the cold to enjoy skiing and other winter sports.
A few years ago after a blizzard came through our area, before the plow – in the evening my hubby and I took a winter walk. I was bundled up! Not something I’d do every night, but the sky was clear and it was fun looking at the sky when we could see it. 🙂
