Golly gee!

The surprise is that I haven’t used these two words together, ever!

Now a simple oh suffices when it’s a pleasant surprise and a loud oh no, shoot does it when it’s something I don’t want to see.

Exclamations are a part of our speech that gives it a kick, otherwise a monotonous tone cannot convey how strongly we are feeling the impact of what’s going on in our lives at the moment.

The surprise this morning for me was a monstrous headache. I have no idea why it descended upon me, bringing its friends, nausea, and heartburns with it. So I’m going to take it slow today. If I haven’t visited your blogs today, you know why!

Let’s hope Sunday surprises me again with good news and I will feel fighting fit and able to blog as normal.

Golly gee! My headache is almost better!

Stay well my friends.

Our SoCS Prompt this week from Linda is;

Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “golly gee.” Use “golly gee” or another interjection that displays the same sentiment in your post. Enjoy!
