WDYS # 108- A Roundup post

Keys left hanging in the lock
Were they in a hurry or just forgetful
So many possibilities, so many stories
We all have our own perspectives and ideas
How boring would life be if we all thought alike

  1. Hmm…. Maybe new home owners just waiting to see the rest of the place?
Or left there while arms full of groceries, went to the kitchen…
Well there are so many possiblities 🙂

Though it does put me into the thought of generations ago when doors were never bolted, or perhaps only at night and from the inside… to keep the bears out. But then most of the windows were small and didn’t have glass either…
Now there are types of entries that have key pads to push in numbers for garages and front doors.
And I know someone who has a lock where the family uses their fingerprints to gain access.

I also have some old skelton keys. My first home was old enough to have that type of key. 🙂
