I love coloring

This week, GC and Sue W have given us the prompt coloring books.

I love coloring as it’s so relaxing. But I don’t use a coloring book and coloring pencils or paints. It becomes cumbersome to carry them around with me all the time. So I’ve found the perfect app which has a huge variety of pictures to choose from.

©️Happy color App is available on both android and iOS devices. It is admittedly easier then coloring on paper as we don’t make messy mistakes, or as the saying goes “ “In coloring there are no mistakes just unique creations.” – Anon. But it is also challenging because there are tiny bits of the picture that we are coloring which we may miss.

I would recommend it to anyone who has a little time to spare as it takes away the tension and I love the end result of my efforts.

These are a few of the images I’ve colored recently.

  1. Wow! I am so glad to read this post this morning, Sadje. I downloaded the app the last time I read one of your posts that talked about this app. Ah! Time to try it. Thank you for sharing, my friend. 🎨

  2. My SIL sent me a colouring book and some pencils and I was looking forward to using the pictures in my cards. Sadly, the colouring pencils were not as I remember and the reds and oranges were the same, as were the greens and blues. I still like the idea though, so when I can find some good quality colouring pencils, I might take it up again. Lovely pictures Sadje.

  3. I love the idea and have used Happy Color (or another version) on my tablet, but get a bit miffed when they start asking for money. Your images were beautiful, and I particularly loved the bird at the end…simply gorgeous! ❤

  4. Wow, your creations are fabulous, Sadje.

I used to enjoy colouring by hand but not any more.
I enjoy creating colour using my software if I have a reason for doing it, but I’m not really into colouring for its own sake. Though I appreciate that many people find it therapeutic.

I might take a look at your App, it could come in useful when making birthdays cards for my younger grandchildren.
Thank you very much, Sadje, your post is just perfect for our challenge. 🙂
