Sharing my world with something new!

Melanie, the host of SYW, asks;

How many pillows do you sleep with? If over one or two, is it because you sleep better ‘propped up’ a little?

Ideally, I should be using just my memory foam, contour pillow to sleep on as it is good for my shoulders. But I often cheat and use another very soft pillow on top of it for a snuggly feel.

What would be the worst thing you could put in a piñata?

Putting lots of candy in piñata is already a very bad thing that we can do to kids. All the sticky candy not only ruins their teeth but also causes repeated throat infections. Better leave it empty. It would be doing the kids a as good deed.

What noise annoys you the most?

Any loud noise, or music annoys me when I am trying to write, read or sleep. Noises that can be alarming not only annoy me but my heart rate also jumps up a lot. A loud thud at night is one example.

If cartoon physics suddenly replaced real physics, what are some things you would want to try?

Jumping from the roof as it won’t hurt me at all, instead I would just bounce back to the roof. Or grabbing a kite and flying high in the sky. The choices are endless.

Please share something good that has happened to you over the past month.

For the last week and a half I have been in Lahore to visit my son, daughter and their families. There were a couple of weddings there as well. One a family wedding and the other was of the son of my best friend. I am sharing a few pictures from both. It was wonderful to meet everyone after 6-7 weeks.

Dr Tanya and me! I’m the one in gray/lilac!
With my best friend who’s son was getting married.

This is the first time I’ve shared my real picture on my blog.

Thank you Melanie! Lovely questions.

  1. I had a big big smile on my face reading this post. You look so so amazing and have that positive, spiritual aura. I love your smile (I don’t get the point of all the wrinkles in your bitmoji 😉).
So so very happy to see the real you and I no longer need to rely on my imagination (although you look a lot like I had imagined!). I have imaginary faces/ voices in my head for all bloggers with which I read everyone’s posts. I’m glad I got the “spiritual aura” right. You also certainly don’t look like a grandmother 😉 (You’re going to get a lot of this!) You really shine in that dress. Absolutely fabulous! 💗

The Cartoon physics question 😂 How ingenious! Gravity wouldn’t exist and one can jump from anywhere with next to no impact. Such a sweet post 🥰 Thanks for trusting us enough to reveal the real you. 💖

    1. Oh thank you Sam for your kind remarks. You’re very sweet to say all this. It is a big step for me. I asked Tanya and she was okay with Amy sharing her picture as well.
The question this week are fun! Thanks again 😘😍

  2. Thank you Sadje for Sharing Your World. You are lovely! I’ve never seen Dr. Tanya before either, I’m glad you two know each other that way…how fun to have a IRL friend who also blogs ‘with’ you! Beautiful photos and beautiful clothing! Very becoming! I agree that an empty pinata is probably the best kind, and one could always put healthy choices in the thing – dehydrated fruit (in packets), veggie sticks (in plastic baggies or wrapped), cheese sticks… there are ways to make it healthy I suppose, but I bet the kids would prefer the candy every time! Good points! Those noises late at night or really early in the morning tend to bother most people I think. You are fortunate to have a man around to send to find out what it is, if it gets too frightening. Me? I hunker under the blankets if Ziggy isn’t upset by the sound, if he IS, I go to see what’s going on. Being able to float or fly about would be a nifty ability! Have a great week! 🙂

    1. Thank you so much Melanie for your kind words. I loved answering these fun questions. I do have a man around to investigate the unexplained noises but mostly I venture on my own to check. I hope you have a wonderful week too.
