Today she has presented us with this quote;

To blog =
To share
To connect
To create
To inspire
What do you think? I would love to know.
➰➰➰
For me, a personal blog is primarily about self-expression. After we write something on our blog, it’s up to us to share it with the worlds or keep it private. Some bloggers like to write out their personal thoughts and keep it private. While others share them with the worlds through the blogging platform they are using.
Sharing thoughts, feelings, stories or poems through the blog is a way to connect with others around us. Like-minded people are attracted to each other, “birds of a feather flock together”. Sharing and connecting through blogging has a lot of advantages. We connect with others going through similar situations and emotions. We also can share and learn how to cope with overwhelming issues.
A blog is also a place where we let our creativity flow. Stories and poems are written and shared in huge numbers daily. Sometimes this process of creativity needs inspiration and many bloggers provide this inspiration either directly through photo or word prompts or by writing thoughts provoking posts. Some bloggers also ask daily or weekly questions in their posts which also provide the idea that sparks a blog post.
According to my way of thinking, this is how the process of blogging develops, starting from a thought to sharing with the blogging community worldwide!

I suspect that we all have a reason why and it may be entirely different for each of us. I know my reasons have substantially change over the past 10 years and will no doubt change again. We all want to be inspirational, but sometimes, we run out of inspiration. I sometimes feel everything I say is repeating something I already said.

You’re right Marilyn that we all write/blog for different reasons. As for repeating oneself, I think we all do that too. I know that I often do.

I started my blog to take the step (brave for me) of trying to write something “public,” even if only one person read it. I thought of it as a place to write my thoughts about my life. Since then, it’s also where I’ve posted stories for people to read, also a dream of mine. I’ve talked to so many people all over the globe and made some friends, too. The blog for me now is a place to share, socialize, and hear other people’s thoughts in my comment section or on their blogs.
