Sunday Poser # 52

Today is one year anniversary of Sunday Poser! Thanks everyone for your support. When I started this new challenge, I thought I’ll try it for a few weeks to see how it goes. My heartfelt gratitude to you all for your support. Thanks

I know most of the people around the worlds are celebrating Halloween today. But instead of scaring you, I want you to be happy and tell me;

What makes you laugh out loud?

I love laughter. Laughing removes stress and invigorates our minds. Antics of small children and pets are a great source of laughter. I do have a pretty weird funny bone. Something can set off my laughter and I am in tears before I manage to stop laughing. I don’t enjoy slapstick humor or situations created by someone’s misfortunes but certain lines spoken by someone can trigger an avalanche of laughter.

Another thing that makes me laugh is seeing someone laughing. I think it is a very common thing, one that psychologists agree on as a trigger to laughter.

So what makes you laugh? Tears streaming from your eyes, or smiling broadly, it all counts.

  1. That point on lines said by someone can set off laughter is totally true for me. Certain lines said by someone in certain situations can trigger laughter for me, and I laugh on continuously, which makes people around wonder – “what was so funny here?”

  2. Oh, I have tears as soon as I start laughing. It’s also too easy to get me to laugh. People doing/ saying silly things, people laughing and worst of all, people falling 😅 Yeah, I need to grow up.
    Today I watched a funny movie at home and fell off my seat laughing (quite literally). So yeah, gets that intense 😉

  3. When I am with someone that I love, and we are sharing a deep connection, and then something “random” happens that neither of us suspected (not scary though), and one of us starts to laugh, which then becomes contagious. Also, our blogging friends are really good at making me laugh, you included, Sadje. I’ve had some of my best laighs in the last year, by reading awesome and meaningful blog posts. Congrats on the 1-year anniversary of Sunday Poser. I cannot believe it’s been a year since you started this prompt. Wow!

  4. Congratulations on reaching this milestone, Sadje! Glad you’re having fun with it.

    I can’t there is any one thing other than it had to be something that really tickled my funny bone. There are times when I have those uncontrollable bursts of laughter that just don’t stop on their own and that becomes the reason to continue laughing until I just can’t anymore. It usually involves tears too. But even those moments, it’s probably nothing that funny. I think it’s my body just saying it’s time to just release and exhaust myself. LOL

  5. Congratulations on your one-year anniversary for your Sunday Poser prompt. My 17-month old grandson is guaranteed to make me laugh out loud when I’m with him. He loves making people laugh! And he’s very good at it,

  6. Since I don’t watch the TV it’s usually something I read and often a blog post. There’s a lot of people in WordPress who had a very dry sense of humour which provides a good chuckle

  7. Spending time with my daughter I will usually be relaxed enough to laugh … with my depression and anxiety issues I know I don’t laugh nearly enough. Congratulations on a full year! It doesn’t seem possible it has been that long already!
