Melanie asks 4-5 questions every week. This week it’s Halloween special!

QUESTIONS;
Name something you wouldn’t want to run into in a dark forest or in an abandoned building (yeah it’s a retread. But there are new participants to SYW too who probably never answered it)
I wouldn’t want to run into that friend whom I just unfriended on face book. Why? You may wonder; it’s because she talks too much and most of it, or maybe all of it, is about her!
Do you believe in multiple dimensions or worlds?
What do we really know? Maybe there are multiple dimensions or worlds. I know that this idea makes stories and movies much more interesting. Also it gives the writers and directors of the said movies to bring people back from the dead!
Would you ever go to a graveyard at night?
Not if I can help it. There is lot of superstition attached to going to a graveyard after dark in our culture as well. My reason for going in broad daylight is that I’m less likely to trip and fall if I can see where I am going!
What is the most frightening book you’ve ever read?
I don’t read frightening books anymore. I think any book which has the main protagonists in danger or in cliffhanger suspense is not a comfortable read.
BONUS QUESTION (just for silliness’ sake!)
If you could have a spooky Halloween pet (black cat, owl, bat, rat, wolf), which would you pick out of the five choices?
I’d love a jet black cat with bright green eyes. They are so cute. In fact there is a stray tiny kitten like that where we are living right now. It’s very shy of humans.
GRATITUDE SECTION (As always, optional)
What are you grateful for?
I am glad the the weather cooled down considerably after the rain on the weekend. It means that Dengue mosquito will die because the temperature has dipped below 28*C, which is the optimal temperature for these mosquitoes to survive and multiply. We are having a resurgence of Dengue fever since the Covid cases are going down.

Thanks Melanie for these fun questions.

Thanks for Sharing Your World, Sadje! That kitten meme was adorable! Aww! ❤ It seems everyone knows that over talkative person, doesn't it? It's worse when their favorite subject is themselves too. A coal black kitty with green eyes sounds like a great choice for a pet! Fortunately we can avoid going to the graveyard at night since most funerals and burials are in the daytime! Have a great week!

😄 You not wanting to run into someone you un-friended on Facebook in a dark forest or an abandoned building is hilarious.
As someone who lives in the Caribbean, I have a deep appreciation for cool weather (The Tropical regions are quite hot).

Thanks Renard. I’m glad you got a smile out of it. I like the cold better than hot weather. I can imagine that living in tropics can be a bit boring. Do you have weather change or it stays hot the year around?

🙂 The weather is basically hot, Sadje.
We have two seasons; the Dry Season and the Rainy Season (It is a few degrees cooler in the Rainy Season).

I understand now. So people who love hot weather should come and visit your home.

I am also grateful for the cooler weather. I like thriller-type books but not those that are the occult sort. Those give me nightmares, even when I’m awake.😨

Thanks Patricia. Yup, same here. Perhaps with age we don’t like scaring ourselves.

I’ll answer as many as I can even remember 😅. I do believe in multiple dimensions. It’s kinda hard to not think their is something else out there we just haven’t discovered. It’s yo me in my mind almost impossible to also think their is not another something like Earth or at least livable.
I do have 2 black cats lol. I don’t know what it is I’ve had all pure white cats and all black cats. I’ve never had a let’s say orange cat lol or a calico.
I am most grateful for my job. I’ve always been in the medical field. I graduated out of high school with a CNA license out my way your able to in the 9th grade go to a vocational school whilst attending regular public school. I had a head start most people did not at my age. After a decade of strictly nursing and furthering my education within it I found myself not unhappy but kinda like hm I want more. I decided since I had my masters in psychology, and finished with being a APRN my options are almost endless. I sat down and thought what else am I good at within this area. I took my time of sobriety and I now have years of sobriety I am now helping others. I always hated going to therapist that couldn’t really feel what I felt. Certain things have to be felt in order to really understand the altitude. I know many others share that same feeling or thought. I am so grateful I made that decision it’s really given me a better perspective of it’s never too late to ever change things even if it’s attending more collage even at my age ( I’m not like really old) 🤣 I just didn’t know many at 30 go back to school. We always have this option to do more at any point and along the way we learn so much.

Very open minded answers Shelby. Changing the path of life at whatever age you feel the need is a bold move. I’m glad you are happy with the direction you’re life C is going. And yes, with personal experience under your belt, you can be more empathetic to others.

I grew up a few blocks from a graveyard and would ride my bike there many days, but it was without a doubt avoided at night. Good answers Sadje!
