This weekly writing challenge runs from Wednesday through Tuesday. The only rule is to use a quote. If you want to participate, create a pingback to link your post. Not sure how to do that? Seasons change like clockwork

Spring follows winter and autumn follows summer

Each season brings a distinct flavor for our entertainment

Imagine how boring life would be if it stayed

The same season all year around

Like spring, autumn is a season of beauty

A season of change, death and rebirth

A season to remind us that our time here is limited

A chance for us to learn grace from the ever-falling leaves

Who exit this life with courage and selflessness

A season that teaches us to hope after the darkness

Thank you Marsha for this lovely topic.

  1. Love the quotes on fall and your poem on changing of seasons. It is true that without no change in seasons it can be very dull, living in the tropics is exactly that, I have learned to appreciate even the slightest change in weather, from sunny to very sunny and not very sunny. LOL!!

  2. What a beautiful post, Sadje. I love your first picture and verse. What a great promise, isn’t it? We all fall, and the secret is in rising again and starting over afresh. Thanks again for your wonderful thoughts.

  3. I live in an area where the four seasons sort of have three months each – I know in other areas the seasons seem like they are one or the other. When I lived for a time in the mid-west it seemed like there was only winter and summer. I enjoy autumn, my birth season.

Lovely verse inspired by the quotes.
