“The leaves fall, the wind blows, and the farm country slowly changes from the summer cottons into its winter wools.” — Henry Beston
This week the Wednesday Challenge is AUTUMN MAGIC.
Partner Susan and myself urge you to tell us about or show us your own nostalgic memories of this magical time of year when the colors, sights and sounds of Mother Nature’s finest are laid bare for your enjoyment.
Feel free to interpret the challenge to suit you – Words, Pictures, Poetry, and Rhyme.

Like spring, fall is also a season of renewal
Old life dies, the trees and other vegetation takes a breather
Getting into gear for the regrowth of the spring
It is a wonderful time for introspection and looking inwards
When we are in the autumn of our lives we should pause as well
More life has passed us by than that lies ahead
It is time to take stock of the deeds done during the spring and summer
Enjoy the mellowness of the autumn magic
And get ready for the cold winter ahead

Beautiful! I like the idea of settling in autumn’s changing wind, taking stock of Spring and Summer event. Wise words.
