Weekly Prompts Weekend Challenge Beverage from SueW & GC

Recently, My choice of beverage and thoughts of framing the image led to a discussion with my partner GC, unsurprisingly, this led to our weekend challenge.
So, GC and I would like you to take a photograph of a beverage that you think deserves to be framed.
Is photography not your style? That’s okay; tell us about it instead.
Think about the setting of your photograph; will it be solitary, or do you visualise it at the centre of a busy scene?

Please interpret the challenge in any way you wish – Words, Pictures, Poetry or Rhyme.

Coffee: That’s my beverage of choice.
Winter or summer, I crave coffee as soon as I get up. And during the day as well. Unfortunately, my tendency towards insomnia prevents me from having regular coffee after noon and then I switch to decaf coffee.

I love all sorts of coffee. Cappuccino, Latte, flavored lattes freshly brewed, you can tempt me with any sort and I’ll leap at the offer.
There’s something magical about smelling the coffee brewing first thing in the morning. It just lifts up the mood and I feel as if I can tackle any challenges thrown my way.
What is your favorite beverage?

It’s easy to recall the best & the worst “pictures” of the past.
I have experimented with myself. I tried to “picturise” the person I want to become. Blurry.. the picture was, although I doubted its existence.

I think it’s a good practice. You’ll get there one step at a time.

Yes! Coffee first thing in the morning is the best. Then I’ll have another mid-afternoon with a couple of cookies. 🙂

Cool! I don’t/ can’t have cookies but coffee is always welcome.

Yes, I’d rather have ‘real cookies’, but all I can have are the sugar free kind. haha 🙂

I am the oddball non coffee, non tea drinker. The strange thing is, I love the smell of coffee wafting in the air.

That’s okay because we all can’t be there same. I love the smell of coffee for itself too. ❤️

You’ve inspired me to do my own coffee post.

My favourite beverage too. I can’t go the day without a cup of coffee.

I’ve just had to switch to decaf everything on medical advice, so I’m struggling at the moment 😔

I did that too, though of my own will. I found very good decaf brands to coffee and tea.

We have only one coffee and one tea in the local shops, and the coffee is so expensive. So I’m drinking more water now

I think you can order on Amazon. But water is good. In fact it’s the best beverage one can have.

Funnily enough, I love the smell of freshly brewed coffee, yet have never developed a taste for it….☕️☕️

Coffee is why I think I’m adopted. Filter coffee is very famous in my city and no one in my family can live without coffee. It’s almost an addiction. You describe it so temptingly. Yet, I can never come to like the smell of coffee or anything about it. 😣 I dislike it so. ☕️
But I know what you mean, most people feel that way. 😀

Haha! Now that is a clue Sam! But families come in all sort of flavors! I and my daughter are the only coffee drinker in our family. The rest of them like tea.

I’m with the rest of your family then 😉 Occasional chai (especially in monsoon) is bliss 🤩

Yes! When I was in med school, we used to study late with the help of infinite cups of tea but I had a couple of friends who wouldn’t even drink tea. We always wondered how they managed to keep awake.

They were probably all drowsy. 😴

Love me some coffee too. Even during summer here in the Philippines where it could get scorching hot, I’d still drink hot coffee. 😂

Oh yes, same here. My friends wonder why I don’t choose cold coffee but I do like it hot.

Cheers to that, Sadje! 🙂

Oh, yes! I adore the smell of real coffee brewing, but I’m not fond of the taste, everyone seems to make it too strong for my taste – but I love latte and cappuccino and the little pods in my machine.
Thank you Sadje 🙂

I am not for very strong coffee either. It’s always a pleasure to participate in your prompts

I like the atmosphere, the good coffee and the nice interior. This is a good place to study with friends or to relax. The drinks and food were delicious and valuable. If you are in the mood for a cool place with beautiful architecture, this is a must.
